What the Street Team is?
Street Team is a funny way to support and promote DNR and their music!
By the word "street" you can easily understand that the street team is basically based on material promotion, that one you can do concretely and using all your fantasy.
Classic street team: FLYERS! Flyers are the best way to publicize the band and promote their concerts and activities directly where they will take place.
DNR staff will provide you little by little all the stuff you need to print for promoting band's events and activities.
You might even create some by yourself... but always pay attention about the filling. All the contents like the logo or the official pics of the band must be right... Street Team SUGGESTIONS
The main targets are schools, gigs, parties, venues or music shops, various events (soprt events, local events, school events, etc. etc.) ...every crowded place and wherever you can find many people, young most of all.
The centre of your city on sunday or saturday and everywhere else the young boys go are perfect places for the street team!
The best and the most useful method is to spread the voice in places where lovers of this style could go round.
IMPORTANT: We all know street team is about spreading the voice to EVERYONE... but please avoid working on 80 years old people or children of 5!!! It would be useless!!!
Our perfect age range is more or less between 12 and 25 years old people, girls most of all, people who cares about music and people who might buy DNR CD's and visit their forum.
For a good leafleting you shouldn't leave flyers in the wrong places.
Avoid posting leaflets on every city wall or on every city monument or transport. No matter in which condition they are! Defacing the city or other properties is a crime which can be punished by fines and legal condemnations for you and the band itself. In the list of objects to avoid we shall even include elements like garbage cans and any kind of pile (...even those one already covered by other leaflets!!!).
(DNR band and the staff dissociate from any vandalism 'cause leaflets are on-line and free to be downloaded and printed by anyone... we just can't control that ...but we can give advices about how using them and about how they should be distributed).
If you feel yourself alone with your love for DNR, if you're the only one who wanna be a "streeter", you better check out the italian support forum of the band (http://dnr.italian.forum.forumfree.it) in the STREET TEAM section, where you could find many other friends like you and sharing this passion with 'em working all together!
Take some pic of the flyers you give or film yourself with a camera during the street team!!! Why??! That's easy! ...The pics or the videos you'll make will be the ONLY DEMONSTRATIONS of your job, otherwise there's nothing else which could prove it! ...So, it's FUNDAMENTAL takin' pics or shootin' videos to certify your effort during you activity! ...Do that when you give the leaflets, when you talk about DNR to others... in short, always take pix!!!
