With “Beyond This World” a dimention is born, between Orient and Occident, evolving in all its theatrical possibility, in sound as in images, a synthesis of all the band members influences, like the clear reference to Hide by choosing the BC Rich “burney” for recording the single and filming the clip.
That fusion also finds its expression in the side version of the tune, sang in Japanese (click here to download from iTunes).
It isn't enough to talk about stylistic references, DNR was born from the experiences of its members in various Hard Rock tribute bands, all the kilometers they've done during the years and the common passion for Visual Kei and Jrock music.
Filmed in Rome, the “eternal” city, Beyond This World video, put the XXI century technology and the hystorical baroque in a serie of conrtasts also clearly interpreted by Barbie Xanax, web queen.
Directed by the more cinematographic filming team than a Visual band can desire (Carlo Roberti e Solobuio Visual Factory), the video clip perfectly serve the mixing and production of Matteo Cifelli and the keyboard arrangements of Toby Chapman (Spandau Ballet), giving visual support to the explosion of sounds and emotions that is Beyond This World.
